This premium tool is used to remove the barrel nut for further servicing, cleaning and maintenance of these Remington rifles. It is critical to use a proper fitting tool to remove these barrel nuts to ensure they do not get rounded or damaged, leading to additional difficulty. Some aftermarket barrel nuts are not made to proper spec, so we cannot guarantee fitment.

Compared to the other wrenches on the market, which just have parallel jaws for use with the 6 or 8-sided barrel nuts, we integrated a cut for a 6-sided nut that can do both jobs. This makes the tool more dual-purpose, as you can use it for other things, such as tightening reloading die components.

We recommend using a penetrating oil and heat for removal the first time. DO NOT beat or hammer on this wrench. The wrench is designed to fit very snug onto the barrel nut. Sometimes it may need a few soft taps with a soft face mallet to fully seat onto the barrel nut, this is common. Note: 1x Wrench Per Purchase.
