How to Use:
Determine the caliber you want to use
Orientate the comparator so that the desired use caliber is at 6 O’clock, and facing the bottom moveable jaw of the caliper
Move the brass thumb screws to the opposite side of the intended caliber on the hexagon to engage the fixed top jaw
Snug down brass thumb screws to the fixed top jaw of the caliper
This spread is compatible with the majority of common use cartridges and is guaranteed compatible with ~80 SAAMI Spec cartridges.

It should be noted that comparators provide comparative measurements, not absolute measurements.
