The TSS Bolt disassembly tool works with all M1 Garand rifles and M1a/M14 rifles. This tool securely holds the bolt and allows for tool-free disassembly of the extractor, ejector and firing pin. In these rifles, the extractor retains all of these components and is under immense spring tension requiring a three handed approach to disassemble without a disassembly tool.
The compression handle preloads the ejector, while the integrated pin driver feature allows you to simply push the extractor out from the bottom with either your fingers or with the slight help of a hammer, or bench top. There is no need for specialty punches or three+ handed gymnastics to disassemble. Reassembly is also as easy as disassembly and just follows the same process in reverse.
