This tool will not harm your action around 175 Ft-lbs and can risk breaking around beyond 225 Ft-lbs. Please use good judgment - using this tool in a way that breaks it exceeds its design intent and can damage your action. We will not accept returns for broken tools and recommend that if a barrel does not come off around 125 Ft-lbs, you have a stress relief cut performed on the barrel. For factory barrel removal, we recommend using penetrating oil and heat prior to applying torque.
